Instructions

These are an outline as I'm not sure which html editor will be available, or preferred for each participant.  You'll need access to the HTML (source) to perform the steps marked (HTML).

1.  Copy the source code for the example page into an editor.  (Or use notepad- see me for details).

2.  Type your question, correct answers and distractors.

3.  If you have 9 answer choices skip this step.  Otherwise

• Erase the extra distracters and their check boxes.  Make sure  to erase from the bottom!
• (HTML)Change the number 9 in "if (totalright == 9) {"
• (HTML)Change the number 9 in "alert("You have . . ."
• (HTML)Erase enough of the if statements and the braces below them (including the totalright ++;)
• (HTML)Erase enough of the this.form... statements under the paragraph about the "Give the answer button".

4.  (HTML)In the if statements change the true's and false's so they match your answers. 

5.  (HTML) In the paragraph about the "Give the answer button" change the true's and false's to match your answers.

6.  Try it in a browser - also known as hope I noticed everything and you typed well :-)
